Long description

The project is an analogue-digital tool that associate design decisions with their probable costs in terms of physical feasibility, deadlines and resources. It is based on an eleven-dimensional cost language  (LADUV) deduced from the German standard DIN276 (regulates construction budget). To universalize its use, we designed the tool as a French playing cards deck. The tool interweaves technical, legal, commercial and symbolic information into a whole. It produces a chain of information, similar to DNA, that can be interpreted by artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. Living buildings are those that communicate constantly with their designer, promoters, builders and inhabitants.

The origin of the eleven dimensions is gravity (6D), a zero-dimensional point that curves 3D space creating the timeline (4D) and the temporal plane of probabilities (5D). What we appreciate in reality are the reflects of temporal dimensions: straightness (7D); architecture (8D); consistency (9D); present (10D) and purpose (11D).
