Long description

Agri Business Solutions Ltd aggregates non export avocado varieties from 12000 farmers in East Africa.  The company also collects second grades and rejects avocado from export pack houses and market dumpsites. Using a zero waste circular economy the avocado is processed to crude oil. The waste peels is carbonized to briquettes, waste seeds planted and seedlings given back to farmers and waste pulp supports black soldier fly farming. To enhance traceability, the company has developed block chain software which links the farmers to suppliers of organic crop inputs, finance, agri insurance and market. The app has smart contracts and a USSD code to onboard farmers, captures transactions data, has geospatial location features and an AI component to support in agronomy. We address  post harvest losses. Briquettes address land degradation and  black soldier fly larvae replace immature fish in animal feed processing thus reducing competition for fish between animals and humans.
