Long description

Turkey is a country where there is a huge pressure on the raw material wood since it has been used in many sectors and cellulose is imported 11 times more than cellulose which is produced in Turkey. As BarleyCo we know that Turkey is the fourth biggest producer of barley with around 9 million tons in 2023 and around 21 million tons of wheat has been produced throughout 2023. With these abundant resources, as BarleyCo which has received pre seed investment from Anadolu Efes beer factory venture programme, we are using annual plant straws as an alternative raw material to wood to create pulp. We are creating molded fiber as finished product now and try to optimize pulp recipe.
