Calmura Natural Walls has developed a natural biocomposite panel and patented wall system that valorizes forestry and agricultural wastes and stores the biogenic carbon in buildings for generations. Our biocomposite mixes wood or agricultural chips with a proprietary lime and clay binder to create multi-functional biocomposite building panels that have a variety or uses to create a durable and high-performance building envelope. Whether used to create walls, floors or ceilings, our panels protect from temperature and humidity variations, sound ingress, earthquakes, as well as fire, pests, and mould. Our factory-produced methods can be scaled to fit the regional supply chain and building industry, thereby creating local jobs and local economies that use regional materials to build the most sustainable buildings on the planet.
