Compostboard is a fully circular material that is created from local agricultural waste. Using flax, hemp and paprika plants, and a binder created from food production waste, this sheet material is designed to be returned to local land where it is left to rot, eriching the soil for future crops. It is a sustainable alternative to building materials, that enriches local economy and biodiversity. The material is fully recyclable, non-toxic and beneficial to the indoor living environment. By returning waste to the local land, we create a never-ending loop of nourishment for the very crops we need to create more material. In life, Compostboard is advantageous to the environment of human inhabitants, in decay it benefits the land.
