User-centered program guided by Design Thinking to alleviate poverty in Latin American communities through practical workshops and tailored programs.

Long description

According to the report “Un empleo contra la exclusión” by the ADECCO Foundation, poverty is closely linked to unemployment: when the unemployment rate decreases, the incidence of poverty tends to decrease as well. The ECLAC reports that nearly a third of the Latin American population lives in poverty, and job creation is at historically low levels, comparable to those of the 1950s. With this in mind, we will implement a three-step user-centered program, each one indispensable for the progress and continuous improvement of the community. Guided by the design thinking methodology, we’ll thoroughly understand the locality’s needs. Leveraging local resources, our program will offer workshops on practical skills like personal financial management and tailored savings strategies. Additionally, relevant trade courses will be provided, promoting equity in economic opportunities. Our initiative is committed to disseminating support programs tailored to inhabitants’ profiles and contexts, ensuring precise and effective responses to community needs.
