There are many issues with sewage and the way we view our bodily waste products, and historically it hasn’t changed much at all despite our technological advances the system is Victorian plumbing, it has contributions to air pollution, and of course in waters, rivers and seas; I see the way in some countries are without adequate water supplies and clean drinking water, yet still we use water to flush away our waste in antiquated ways rotting in sewers all under our feet creating gases that pollute the air contributing to the climate crisis. With the issues of flood damages many people find that sewers are the worst of all when they are breached to enter homes and businesses. This is a business model for people to manage as an economic solution to poverty, as well as a way to take responsibility for where our bodily waste is taken care of.
