Long description

Habitual is a project dedicated to the production of healthy and sustainable foods in urban centers from vertical mushroom farms. To do this, we collect plant waste generated by the local agricultural industry such as straw, sawdust, and bagasse, and, using processes with low environmental impact, we condition them so that they can be digested by fungi and transformed into foods with high nutritional content.

The main objective is to redesign the model from which we obtain our food in urban centers. Eliminated the use of land by using vertical farms, using a fraction of water compared to protein of animal origin, and achieving traceability of the origin of our food. Furthermore, using plant waste from the agricultural industry as raw material represents maximizing efficiency in fieldwork, generating new economic units, and generating the possibility of replicating our model anywhere in the world.
