The Head Voices series of paintings is a representation of the distorted filter that our brain creates when we don’t feel well and bring us to see or hear things that are not real.

After COVID isolation and losses,  a lot of my dearest friend suffered of a deep depression as a consequence, some of them share with me the dark thoughts.

This project is a journey between myself and my customer, getting to know them and their dark fear I turn it into art and I exteriorize it and I try to defeat the ‘monster’ and the ‘fear’ that they feel.

My art is a connection that I create with my “committenti” regarding their feelings and their dark thoughts. Is like free them from their thoughts and put them on paper.

Every layer of cardboard is a filter and on top of each other creates the tridimensional painting.

SUSTINABLE SOURCED MATERIALS: the cardboard is collected from a factory that I collaborate with because was not good enough to be utilized.

All the paint that is been used is water based or with natural pigments.

QUALITY: from a material that was about to loose his functionality due to his imperfections I turn it into art.

AFFORDABLE: all the materials are considered ‘poor’ materials in this case I can lower the cost of my art.
