A collection of nests and feeders made of earthy materials that provide natural spaces for small urban birds.

Long description

Hombre Pájaro (Birdman) is a project aimed at conserving urban bird populations. It offers a range of sustainable nests and feeders crafted from compressed mud, clay, and plaster. These customizable products can be mounted on various surfaces using different wooden support options: wall, pole, or hanging support.

Employing techniques of vernacular architecture, each nest is waterproofed with a natural Mexican cactus slime known as nopal. Additionally, the interior is lined with a blend of horse manure and soil, which provides birds with a natural and appealing mixture containing oat and straw residues they can consume.

By utilizing earthy materials, we offer birds natural habitats for their daily activities, steering clear of artificial colors and chemicals. For bird lovers, this is crucial in wild bird products. “I want birds to have a home that reflects their natural material choices,” they expressed in a survey.
