Sheep need to be sheared regularly to prevent parasites and regulate body temperature. The Anatolian Karaman breed’s wool is unsuitable for textiles the farmer who has the sheep sheared twice a year for approximately 40 TL often burns their wool due to a lack of buyers besides the problem of mice and odour.
Wool is a valuable organic material that has many benefits. It contains lanolin and is breathable, fire-resistant, and easily processed. Since ancient times, wool has been used to treat musculoskeletal system diseases. Unfortunately, the lack of an organized supply network, it has become disconnected in some geographies. To reduce environmental costs, we aim to establish a correct and continuous supply chain. We also strive to make wool a part of our daily lives through product designs that highlight its benefits.
