‘New Horizon Initiative’ visualizes through A.I. different interests of (non)-human life in a landscape to advocate for Rights of Nature.
Long description
With an artistic practice we contribute to the imagination and position of non-human life in a human system. Inspired by the Rights of Nature movement, our ‘New Horizon Initiative’ intends to empower all life and give them a voice in the formulation of political and governmental participation.
Through scholarly research and field surveys, we identify different stakeholders and their interests. Using photography we create a visual inventory of different types of landscape elements that are important to the different stakeholders, both human and non-human. All these images, including environmental data and policy frameworks, form the basis for a visual stakeholder analysis, using Artificial Intelligence. The outcome are ideal landscape images where all voices are represented.
These images provides insights to facilitate policymakers, CEO’s and politicians in their decision-making process, highlighting insights into sustainable ecosystem uses and halt biodiversity loss (SDG15) and to “combat climate change and its impact” (SDG13).
