The OUI is the first circular electric vehicle on four wheels. The concept is to combine a maximum amount of practical purposes with a minimum amount of impact on the environment. It asks the question; what do we really need? And what can we do without? Reduce. Few things are as destructive as the car. Pollution, fatalities involving cars, massive waste of energy and natural resources and landscapes and communities torn apart by infrastructure. If we want to Reimagine the way we live, we have to redesign the car. We should prioritise walking and cycling but for some purposes we need something bigger. It doesn’t have to go fast and it can be very light. It is designed to be shared, repaired, reused and repurposed. It is a kind of Fairphone on wheels that works anywhere in the world. Especially in places where cleaner, safer mobility is a necessity.
