How might we revolutionize the delivery of health services, particularly in postpartum care, by reimagining the role of textiles as healing agents within our local healthcare landscape? In addressing the challenges faced by breastfeeding mothers, especially concerning milk flow and associated breast pain, how can we leverage innovative smart textile technology to enhance breastfeeding experiences? By focusing on the unique needs and opportunities present within our local community, this project aims to spearhead a transformative approach to healthcare delivery. This project centers on the integration of specialized knit fabric that dynamically respond to milk flow pressure, offering a novel solution to alleviate breast pain and enhance breastfeeding comfort. This initiative fills a gap in interventions within this domain, emphasizing a transformative shift in healthcare delivery.
