ReCircle is on a mission to demystify and streamline responsible disposal for household products like appliances, electronic waste, furniture and textiles. Simply scan the QR code of your hard-to-recycle product, and be directed to answer questions about your location and the condition of the product. If the product is in good condition, the app will automatically direct you to solutions that can extend the lifespan of the item- sourcing a local repair shop, or automatically linking to local nonprofit organizations “Items Needed” lists that are registered in the ReCircle database. If the product is in poor condition, the app will provide recycling pick up services in your area as a last resort. Not only does ReCircle save consumers hours of researching on the internet that most people don’t have time for, ReCircle users will be able to earn redeemable points and rewards with certain retailers for responsible disposal.
