I eagerly anticipate collaborating with the community as it has been customary in my practice, to repurpose single use plastics and second hand clothes into more functional products like decorative tiles and furniture. I intend to acquire small scale start up machinery to streamline this repurposing effort and engage experts to co-facilitate training workshops. These workshops will empower the community with practical skills to repurpose waste in their surroundings effectively. Furthermore, I aim to go the extra mile by creating prototypes of these products, fostering a space for shared learning and innovation. With the machinery at out disposal, I plan to invite community members to utilize them beyond the project’s duration, ensuring continued engagement and sustainability. Additionally, i have initiated research into hairline and garment repurposing and I intend to invest part of the support received from this opportunity into expanding these efforts for the community’s benefit and the environments preservation.
