“Revelo” means to show what was hidden or ignored. Our concept eyewear seamlessly blends purpose and style, showcasing craftsmanship that serves as the spine of Oaxaca’s economic and cultural structure. Through inclusive and individual design combined with handcrafted processes, we frame faces of all ethnicities.

Repurposing plastic from landfills unveils a spectrum of colors, prohibitively expensive to produce industrially. This approach promotes local, sustainable sourcing and fosters independence in material procurement, with short delivery ways reducing environmental impact.

Collaboration with NGOs and the trash picker community adresses the significance of dignified employment and helps with their optical needs, elevating their status within society. Revelo serves as a beacon of change, promoting inclusive design while supporting the journey towards valuing recycled plastic as a quality material and advocating for stable incomes and labor rights within the informal work sector.
