Long description

Su Ha stands for Sustainable Happiness. Supporting personal and collective wellbeing, it combines evidence-based pathways to feeling and functioning well with change-makings skills that grow our capacity to make a difference in the world.

Our starting point is recognising the happiness trap of ‘un su ha’, (unsustainable happiness), where actions attractive in the short term have consequences that increase misery over time. Heavy drinking and heavy use of fossil fuels share this dynamic. Su Ha decarbonises the pursuit of happiness by linking life satisfaction to skills we develop, challenges we face and relationships we value, rather than products we consume.

Su Ha ‘moves’ have three elements: a spoken phrase, an embodied gesture, and an action step. Applying behavioural science, these moves help unfreeze our response to world problems, nourishing our wellbeing while helping us find our part to play in addressing the challenges of our age.
