Long description

Founded in 2018, Minus is a systemic disrupter in the area of design, production and consumption of finished goods. Through various research projects Minus is developing a regenerative methodology, and based on the framework we started to build value chains and business models for furniture and interiors in 2020.

Regenerative is defined as storing more carbon than emitted, facilitate for biodiversity when harvesting virgin materials and keeping the material alive minimum the equivalent nature’s material recreation time.

Minus launched a first furniture collection in 2023. The seed to seed model involves compact value chains based on minimum 95% renewable energy, conscious harvesting methods and upcycling all rest biomass included potential carbon sequestration techniques. The complete value chain is planned completed in 2025. Finally the business model gives material ownership to Minus, enabling reuse of products, but also reuse of materials in new products.
