Long description

Tzahua is a word in Nahuatl that means weave, this project is focused on weaving ideas, concepts, art, design, engineering, and love for life to transform the way we experience life.

We are creating products based on mycelium and other biomaterials and using natural shaped finishes, for the design of interior spaces. We want to demonstrate the importance of waving ideas and materials to shape natural, beautiful, and low impact,  products to promote the well-being of occupants and care for the planet’s resources.

The name is inspired by mycelium and its growth in wavings, as well as the neuronal connections of the human brain.

We want to make visible these important and analogous connections between nature and humans. Transforming the way we design, produce, consume, feel and live.
