Long description

Uncook the Planet is a postcard art project aimed at helping everyone feel positive and inspired that change is possible when it comes to the climate crisis.

It brings together subject experts and creatives to build hope around climate solutions – using art and creativity to make established science memorable, mainstream, and, most importantly, inspiring. 

It focuses on the everyday changes and wider societal shifts that need to happen if we’re to tackle climate change. These changes are grouped under the themes of ‘Uncook how we live’, ‘Uncook how we consume’ and ‘Uncook what we value’ – three areas the climate experts we spoke to believe will make the biggest impact.  

Artists from all over the world are responding to these ‘Uncook’ prompts, with detailed creative briefs prepared with the help of our scientific experts.
