Using wood waste to make fresh pieces of board for further use in schools
Long description
A small scale solution to wood waste, especially in environments like school DT workshops. Wood chips, dust and offcuts from saws, bandfacers and lathes can be collected and reprocessed back into usable wood using a kit that aids in turning the waste into small sections of Chipboard.
It can also double as a teaching aid to educate students about the creation of manufactured woods, whilst also building waste-aware habits that push students to be mindful of their resource and energy use going into the future of their Design and Technology career.
